The mood ring comes with a story card that reads as follows:

• Green: calm, comfortable
• Blue: relaxed, lovable
• Violet: passionate, happy
• Black: tense, stressed
• Amber: tired, unhappy
• Orange: upset, inpatient
• Red: passionate, energetic
• Pink: cheerful, happy
